Awhile providing prayers & performing the special ritual, the priests have been witnessed maintaining the COVID-19 instructions of wearing of face masks, keeping physical distancing, & avoiding crowded places.
The Durga temple Trust board chairman Paila Sominayudu & Executive Official MV Suresh Babu have been amongst the attendees.
The programme had come to a suspend mos back because of the COVID-19 epidemic. Although, as of now, it was restored however maintaining the instructions released by this central & state govt in mind.
From today onwards, the programme going to be played in 6.30 prime minister each day. Although, devotees going to be permitted only in a limited number within the wake of the epidemic.
The sale of on-line tickets for Dasara celebrations in the Kanaka Durga Temple in Vijayawada also started on Fri.. A overall of 10,000 devotees would be allowed in the celebration per day.
