Hyderabad(Hyd): To boost COVID-19 medication outdoor the existing people health-care system & with citizens rushing to private hospitals, some private medical colleges were roped in to provide free COVID-19 medication to both affirmed & suspected sufferers.
“This initiative was taken to make sure there is no shortage of berths in any zone of the GHMC,” stated Governor of Telangana (TL) Dr Tamilisai Soundararajan on Wed.
Under this initiative, 3 private medical colleges — Mamataha, Malla Reddy & Kamineni institute — were enlisted by this People Health Industry authorities.
“A part of the same initiatives, 7 extra private teaching hospitals would also be added further to the list,” reported the Director of People Health.
As per the Governor of Telangana (TL)’s tweet on Wed., dist. hospitals, TIMS & private medical colleges are to give COVID-19 medication. Presently, 98 hospitals & diagnostic centers are providing checking facilities to track & test the instances as early as possible.
Furthermore in her tweet, the governor said that dash boards were set up in the hospitals to ask regarding the bed status. House isolation call centers have also being installed to educate the residents regarding the self-treatment & solve their own questions linked to COVID-19 medication.
