Washington(WA): A special airplane under Vande Bharat Mission deceased from Washington(WA) with 206 stranded Indians for Delhi(DL).
“Today, AI-104 IAD-Delhi(DL) with 206 passengers left Washington(WA), DC @IndianEmbassyUS wishes them all, safe return house,” India(In) embassy here tweeted.
The mission, that initiated from May 7, is now in its 3rd stage. The previous stage commenced on Jun 11.
As on Thu., 3,64,209 citizens have repatriated under this mission., the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) stated.
Within the 1st 3 stages of the Vande Bharat Mission, about 875 Intl. airplanes have been planned for operation from over 50 nations across five continents. Till now over 700 of these airplanes have approached India(In), returning
about 150000 Indians.
The Indian govt has also sanctioned extra airplane solutions to bring back Indian nationals who’re still stranded abroad.
