New Delhi(DL), October 1: The Supreme Court on Thu. declined to entertain a PIL that claimed that the Coronavirus epidemic is a person created genocide & pushed the top court to problem directions to the Globe Health Company (WHO) & China.
A bench headed by Justice Sanjay Kishan Kaul & comprising of Justice Hrishikesh Roy informed the petitioner-in-person Raman Kakkar, “You may be a doctor, however not a lawyer, that is obvious from that prayers within the PIL.
” The petitioner had shifted the top court seeking to pass directions over the WHO authorities, who failed to prevent the spread of Coronavirus disease within the globe.
The bench noticed that the plea that sought compensation from China to India(In), for losses incurred because of the epidemic, couldn’t be retained.
The bench stated the court has no jurisdiction to summon China & inquired the petitioner, “this court is not the govt & just how could it say what the WHO & China must accomplish?”
The petitioner said that the WHO had delayed by a mo in declaring Coronavirus as a health urgency that threatened the globe. The bench reiterated that the petition is not sustainable.

Chief Justice S.A. Bobde had dismissed the petition, although granted liberty to the petitioner to make a representation before the Center.
