Mumbai (Bombay): American rapper-songwriter Raja Kumari has come out with her new single “Peace”, using that she wants to encourage citizens to look in themselves to locate “true inner peace”.
“Peace” is the 2nd single from Raja’s upcoming entry album. The 1st 1 has been “N.R.I.”
“Peace” comes with chill-tempo jam, dreamy immersive beats, Khari Brown’s layered production to Elvis Brown’s distinctive lyrics. It delves into the themes of manifestation, optimism & spirituality.
“Mentally, I understood I’d to reset in order to target on myself & my family (4), & this song has been written as a mantra of positive affirmations for peace in my personal life,” Raja stated.
“We shot this video footage within the middle of isolation. Though I’m habituated to having a big crew on set to handle everything from spot scouting to glam & make-up, all I’d in LA has been me & Shawn Thomas (long-time director & collaborator) & the support of my manager & assistant (all socially distanced with face masks!). It definitely has been a challenge to begin from that starting again, doing all this styling & hair & make-up myself,” she added further.
The rapper-songwriter continued: “The video footage has been shot between Antelope Valley & Mt Baldy, the beautiful scenic region behind my parent’s house. Solitude were a massive theme within the starting of isolation & as the globe opens up, I wanted to encourage citizens to look in themselves to locate true inner peace.”
