Hyderabad(Hyd): Expressing severe worry over raising no. of COVID-19 instances & demises within the State, Telangana (TL) Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) President & Nalgonda MP Capt. N. Uttam Kumar Reddy claimed that CM K. Chandrashekhar Rao’s inefficiency & inability are accountable for the present status. He also declared the plan for a show of agitation programs to be conducted within the next 1 week on different problems.
He has been solving a press conference in Gandhi Bhavan on Sat. with TPCC Functioning Presidents Ponnam Prabhakar & Kusum Kumar, Vice-President Dr. Mallu Ravi, AICC Spokesman Dr. Dasoju Sravan & different chiefs.
Uttam Kumar Reddy claimed that CM KCR Government has completely failed to handle the COVID-19 status. He stated that the 1st COVID-19 complaint has been recorded in Telangana (TL) regarding 3 mos back & experts had released several cautions predicting a massive raise in the amount of instances.
Although, he stated even after 3 mos, CM KCR’s govt taken no steps to handle the status in an efficient way. The status is so horrible that there have been no berths within the hospitals to handle the COVID-19 sufferers. He stated that the instructions to trace, test & handle COVID-19-19 sufferers weren’t followed & CM KCR’s negligent & casual reach resulted in massive spread of the disease with no medical infra-structure in place to handle the affected citizens.
The TPCC Chief stated there has been only 1 COVID-19 hospital (3), the Gandhi Hospital (3) for the nearly 4 cr public of Telangana (TL). He stated that the lock-down period wasn’t utilised correctly to upgrade the infra-structure.
Consequently, today the officials are not been able to participate to raising no. of instances within the state. He stated that the Congress party was rising the problem of less checking in Telangana (TL). Reddy stated a representation has been also made with the Governor on the problem. Even the High Court has given multiple suggestions to rise the checking rate.
Although, the CM KCR govt is not willing to listen to opposition parties, the Governor (or) even the High Court. He stated that the govt has failed to give Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) kits even to the doctors who’re treating sufferers. Consequently, multiple doctors, nurses & different para-medical employees have been contaminated with the deadly infection.
Similarly, multiple police personnel, sanitation labour & reporters too captured the infection. He stated these instances clearly expose the failure & proves the TRS govt’s inefficiency.
Uttam Kumar Reddy reiterated the insist that all frontline soldiers over COVID-19 involving doctors, para-medical employees, policemen, sanitation labour & reporters be made payment an ex-gratia of INR. 50 lakh in case they pass away of COVID-19.
He stated that the Central Govt has already made a statement that doctors & para-medics would be given an ex-gratia of INR. 50 lakh. Although, this call is not being executed by this govt. He also insisted INR. 10 lakh ex-gratia for the poverty-stricken whose lives have been taken by this disease.
The TPCC Chief stated that The PCC Task Enforce Committee on COVID-19-19, headed by Marri Shashidhar Reddy, would make a representation with the Central Tandem, that is checking Hyderabad(Hyd), to expose the carelessness of the state govt in managing Confinement Areas. He declared that Congress chiefs would address press meets on Jun 30 in all Assembly HQ (headquarters) to expose the failures of the TRS govt handling the status.
Uttam Kumar Reddy also slammed the TRS Govt for inflated power invoices given to users this mo. He insisted that the power invoices for the lock-down period of 2 mos must be waived off, specially for the BPL families.
He also insisted that the power businesses must adopt telescopic methodology to produce power invoices by scrapping far away the non-telescopic technique that going to benefit users. He stated that the Congress party would organize rallies over inflated power invoices with black badges & flags in all Mandal & Assembly HQ (headquarters) on Jul 3.
The TPCC also declared that dissent would be conducted on Jun 29 over the hike in petrol & diesel costs in all Rural Dist. HQ (headquarters) & memorandums going to be submitted to the Dist. Collectors. Similarly, rallies going to be conducted in urban regions & mandal HQ (headquarters) on Jul 4.
Uttam Kumar Reddy stated that the Congress party would organize birth centenary celebrations of previous PM P.V. Narasimha Rao from Jun 28. The celebrations going to go on for a yr. by way of organising various programs. He also reminded that the afterwards Congress govt in undivided AP had moved a solution within the Assembly insisting a Bharat Ratna for PV Narasimha Rao.
