Amaravati: The amount of COVID-19 instances in AP rised to 14,595 on Tue. with 704 citizens testing positive(+ve) during this last 24 hours, authorities stated.
The state also recorded 7 fatalities, pushing the number of deaths to 187. 3 citizens ceded to the infection in Krishna dist. awhile 2 demises took place in Kurnool dist.. Guntur & Anantapur dists accounted for 1 demise every.
As per the media bulletin declared by this State Command Curb Room, 18,114 samples have been tested during this last 24 hours. Of them 704 tested positive(+ve). They contain 5 returnees from abroad & 51 migrants from different states.
The health dept. stated 258 citizens have been discharged from hospitals. With this the amount of recoveries rose to 6,511.
A overall of 7,897 sufferers have been undergoing medication. Awhile 6,161 have been in hospitals, 1,736 have been in COVID care centers.
Amongst dists, Kurnool remained the worst affected with 1,955 positive instances involving 82 added further during this last 24 hours. With 1,571 instances, Anantapur has the 2nd largest number. The dist. recorded 104 new instances. Krishna dist. has 1,467 instances involving 84 recorded during this last 24 hours.
The state has till now tested 8,90,190 samples, one such largest within the nation.
Meantime, CM Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy going to flag-off on Wed., 1,088 vehicles of ‘108′ & ‘104′ ambulances, prepared with modern personal life help systems to give quick & best medical attention.
First time, 26 neo-natal ambulances are also going to be inducted into the fleet of 412 new ‘108′ ambulances, where 104 of them are sophisticated personal life help vehicles & 282 are basic personal life help vehicles, authorities stated.
Apart from these, to cater to the interior & remote villages, 676 Mobile Medical Units (MMU) of 104 urgency service are being presented.
