The Karnataka(KA) Exam Authority (KEA) has extended the application deadlines for the diploma common entrance test (DCET) & postgraduate common entrance test (PGCET). Students seeking admission to the 2nd yr. (or) third-semester engineering(engr.) courses within the lateral entry scheme could apply until Sep 21, 5:30 prime minister awhile the fee payment is permitted until Sep 22. Similarly, students applying for admissions to MBA, MCA, ME, MTech, & MArch courses could also apply until Sep 21, Five prime minister.
KEA in an officer circular stated that this is the “final opportunity” & no extensions of dates going to be given thereafter. Students could apply in the officer site, kea.kar.nic.in. The expansion has been given “because of the present COVID-l9 status within the state”. Furthermore to avoid a clash of the examinations dates with any different entrance test, the dates of both the examinations have also being turned.
As of now, DCET 2024 going to be conducted in on Oct 14 & the PGCET going to be conducted on Oct 13 & 14. Within the in the morning shift from 10 am to one prime minister students going to appear for 180 marks test within the respective subjects. From three prime minister to Four prime minister a 50 marks examination going to be conducted for Horanadu & Hadinadu Kannadiga students as a 50 marks Kannada test.
On the same date from 10:30 am to 12:30 prime minister, PGCET examination for admission to ME, MTech, MArch courses offered by this dept. of postgraduate studies & study in mathematics & computer science, Kuvempu University & Dept. of studies in computer science, University of Mysore going to be conducted. Within the 2:30 om to 4:30 prime minister shift the examination going to be for courses offered by VTU, UVCE, UBDTCE. On Oct 14, MCA entrance examination going to be conducted within the 1st shift & MBA within the 2nd shift, according to the officer circular.
