AP, Telangana (TL) Coronavirus Live updates: Telangana (TL) recorded a new single day high with 2,207 extra COVID-19 instances on Sat., taking the total caseload within the state to 75,257. The number of deaths rose to 601 with 12 extra fatalities, a state govt bulletin stated on Fri.. Till date, 53,239 have recovered & the recovery rate stands in 70.7%.
AP crossed the Two lakh mark Fri. as the other 10,171 have been added further taking the total tally to 2,06,960 out of that over 1.Two lakh citizens have recovered till date. With 89 new demises, the state recorded its largest single day spike in number of deaths till now.
After reporting its 1st complaint on 12 Mar, AP’s COVID-19 graph peaked to over 2 lakh instances in just 149 days, witnessing a quick raise, particularly in the last 3 weeks. The state has till date tested 23,62,270 samples & its infection positivity rate climbed furthermore to 8. 76% inching closer to the domestic average of 8. 90%. The recovery rate too enhanced to 58.21 percent, however has been way below the domestic average of 67.98 per cent.
Meantime, the center on Fri. advised 16 dists in four states reporting covid-19 mortality higher than the domestic & their own respective state’s average to rise tests per mln public. In Telangana (TL), Hyderabad(Hyd), Medchal, Malkajgiri dists come under this category.
