Hyderabad(Hyd): The phase is set for the Monsoon session of Telangana (TL) legislature starting Mon. amidst unprecedented arrangements in see of COVID-19-19 epidemic.
COVID-19 test
All members of both the Legislative Assembly & the Legislative Council were inquired to go through a COVID-19-19 test & only those with negative results going to be permitted to participate the session. Presiding officials of both the Homes have already declared the Standard Functioning Methods (SOPs), under that all legislators, employees, security employees & reporters covering the session have to go through the tests.
Finance Minister T. Harish Rao on Fri. tested positive(+ve) & is under house quarantine. Assembly Speaker P. Srinivas Reddy & Council Chairman G. Sukhender Reddy have also inquired those having COVID-19 signs not to participate the session.
Face masks mandatory
Wearing of face masks going to be mandatory for everyone legislators. The personal employees of legislators won’t be permitted to enter the legislature complex awhile 1 (or) 2 assistants of ministers going to be allowed.
Authorities stated visitors going to also be not permitted during this session, that is likely to continue for 20 days. The ‘media point’ within the Assembly building, where chiefs of different parties habituated to address media people, was eliminated to make sure physical distancing.
Seating arrangements within the Assembly & the Council have also being turned to make sure that physical distancing is retained between members.
This is the 1st legislature session from the outburst of COVID-19 & the presiding officials of both the Homes are creating fool-proof arrangements to prevent spread of the disease.
Opposition
The main opposition Congress going to be looking to corner the Telangana (TL) Rashtra Samithi (TRS) govt on what it calls its failure to see the spread of COVID-19 within the state.
CM K. Chandrashekhar Rao has already stated that the govt is prepared to debate & discussion threadbare all this problems. He instructed the ministers to be equipped to place all this facts so that they’d be well-known to the citizens.
A gathering he conducted last week with ministers & TRS legislators ruled to have conversation on the confinement of COVID-19 & medication of sufferers, crop loss because of heavy rains, the fire crash within the Srisailam Hydel Project, the achievements made within the power industry, the new Revenue Act, the illegal building of project by AP govt within the name of Rayalaseema Lift Irrigation Scheme, & irrigation industry problems.
CM KCR, as the CM is well-known, stated the legislature would also debate injustices being meted out by this Center to the state in Goods & Solutions Tax (GST) implementation, fiscal & economic losses because of the policies of the Center, lukewarm reaction of the Center to the resolutions made by this State on the reservations, agriculture industry & regulatory cultivation technique.
He inquired the ministers to gain prepared with all this info on the problems that would come up for discussions during this session.

P.V. Narasimha Rao
The legislature going to also pass a solution insisting the Center to confer the nation’s largest civilian honor, the Bharat Ratna, on previous PM P.V. Narasimha Rao. The chief minister had already declared this
The state govt also ruled to install a portrait of Narasima Rao within the Assembly & it’ll appeal the Center install his own portrait within the Parliament.
Using the other solution to be moved within the legislature, the Center going to be pushed to rename the Central University of Hyderabad(Hyd) as P.V. Narasimha Rao Central University.
