In a dynamic battle, Manish Sisodia trailed by 1,427 votes from his opposition BJP’s Ravinder Singh around afternoon, when AAP’s record-breaking sweeping victory in the national capital (Delhi) was confirmed.
Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal’s Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) set to a memorable victory in the national capital but the party’s next big leader, Manish Sisodia was struggling to win in his constituency.
In the current battle, AAP’s 2nd VIP leader Manish Sisodia trailed by 1,427 votes from his BJP’s opposition Ravinder Singh Negi as per the afternoon update.
Mr. Manish Sisodia, the deputy CM of Delhi who conducted all key portfolios in the AAP government, is running at 13,844 votes while the BJP leader has gained 15,271 votes at the movement.
AAP is leading in 58 seats with a 52.4% vote share in Delhi assembly polls and the BJP is leading on 12 seats with 39.9% vote share. The INC (Congress) has failed to win any seat in the 2nd consecutive election.
