Rachakonda CP warns citizens defying lockdown orders

Hyderabad: Rachakonda Police Commissioner Mahesh Bhagwat warned volunteers against defying lock-down rules containing social distancing awhile distributing food & essentials to the needy people.

With regard to food distribution drives, Bhagwat stated prior permission from that police & the GHMC had to soon be taken by the volunteers. Those violating this norm would soon be booked.

More than 100 volunteers & NGOs have already registered themselves from the Rachakonda Police to serve the needy people so far. “Many volunteers are witnessed going around distributing food to citizens in distress throughout the lock-down period.

It is to soon be noted which anyone who wishes to distribute food to the poor, migrant labour & daily wage labour should 1st seek permission from that local police,” Bhagwat stated.
