K’taka assures jobs for repatriated Kannadigas from Saudi Arabia

Bengaluru, September 25 : Karnataka(KA) govt gave its company assurance to all 32 Kannadigas who’re returned from Saudi.

This has been declared here by this Deputy CM, Dr C. N. Ashwathnarayana on Thu.. “All 32 Kannadigas approached Bengaluru on Thu. in the evening & the state has made them stay in Bengaluru University hostel building,” he stated.

He furthermore added further that all of them have gone under mandatory COVID-19-19 tests & until the results come, they’ll be held in a hostel.

The minister stated that majority of them lost their own jobs because of the epidemic & they’re direly in want of jobs, hence the state govt had taken responsibility for accommodating them.

As per him, Karnataka(KA) taken each possible initiative to bring back these 32 people who have been languishing in Saudi prisons after they’d violated their own Employment visa regulations.

“Majority of them had over resided in that nation. We got (1) in contact with External Affairs ministry & in turn they got (1) in contact with Embassy in Saudi, who helped us out to bring all of them to India(In),” he clarified.
