Hyderabad(Hyd): CM CM KCR disclosed that throughout his own childhood, kids have been threatened to ‘Waqf’ when they act naughty.
He stated Waqf means to donate. Waqf lands are really donated lands. In olden days each home had Urdu knowing citizens. When kids act naughty, elderly citizens habituated to threaten them that they’ll be ‘Waqf’ in case they don’t block doing mischief.
CM apprised home members of Waqf & Mansha-e-Waqf & stated in olden days everybody understood those terminologies.
