Andhra Govt to complete medical staff recruitment in 10 days

Amaravati: AP govt going to full recruitment to the rest medical posts for COVID-19 in 10 days awhile the State was spending INR 10.18 cr per day on the epidemic.

CM YS Jagam Mohan Reddy has directed that Arogya Mitras must handle Aarogyasri Support Desks to create awareness & guide the sufferers correctly.

As per an officer declare, throughout a review gathering conducted here on Fri., AP CM has been informed that the procedure for recruitment of 30,887 posts in Health Dept. going to be finished in 10 days. Till now 21,673 posts have been filled on contract basis & for the 9,971 normal posts, 4,676 have been filled & recruitment is under progress for the rest 5,295 posts.

The State Govt was spending INR 10.18 cr per day on COVID-19 care of that INR 4.three cr is for tests, INR 1.31 cr on meal for sufferers & INR 4.57 cr on medicines. The authorities stated the State has 138 COVID-19 care hospitals with 37,441 berths of that 2,462 gen. berths, 11,177 oxygen -supported berths & 2,651 ICU berths are still vacant & available as on Fri..

“New medical colleges would strengthen the health system within the State & instructed authorities to take (2) immediate steps for building of medical colleges & also to target on building of urban health centers,” stated CM Reddy.

The CM informed the authorities to give rating to the hospitals by taking feedback from that sufferers on meal, sanitation, infra-structure & solutions of the doctors. Feedback, involving Aarogya Asara must be taken from Aarogyasri network hospitals & any discrepancy must be rectified immediately.

The CM instructed the authorities to set up Support Desks with ‘Arogya Mitras’ in each Aarogyasri network hospital (3) & stated Support Desks must also be available in each empanelled hospital (3). Implementation of Aarogyasri scheme in network hospitals must be frequently monitored & stringent action would be taken over any hospital (3) flouting the rules, he stated.

Arogya Mitras must have evident understanding of protocol & they must monitor in case Arogya Asara (recuperation allowance) money is being given to sufferers handled under Arogyasri scheme. They must take (2) normal feedback on the medical solutions being given to COVID-19 sufferers & submit a record.

The CM also instructed the authorities to make mock calls to call centers everyday to see their own work (5) & report the reaction. He instructed the authorities to intensify the campaign on what must a human accomplish & whom must he call in case he’s tested positive(+ve) for COVID-19.
