Two killed as heavy rains lash Hyderabad

Hyderabad(Hyd): 2 citizens have been died in home collapse as heavy rains lashed multiple parts of Hyderabad(Hyd) on Wed., inundating low-lying regions, flooding roads & throwing vehicular traffic out of gear.

With 10 Chief Minister rainfall in a couple of hours in numerous places, the roads changed cesspools. The heavy downpour caused long traffic snarls. Motorists have been stranded within the peak in the evening time.

In some of the places like Shaikhpet & Attapur, cars have been submerged awhile quite a few two-wheelers washed far away.

Roads have been flooded in busy posh regions like Banjara Hills & Jubilee Hills & commercial centers like Ameerpet, Koti, Dilsukhnagar, LB Nagar, Abids, Basheerbagh, Begumpet, Khairatabad & Secunderabad.

Greater Hyderabad(Hyd) Municipal Corporation (GHMC) pressed its disaster reaction enforce groups into service to participate the cases of water logging. The groups have been trying to pump out water even though overflowing drainages made their own task tough.

The municipal authorities requested to citizens to remain indoors. Police diverted traffic in Biodiversity Park as the road leading towards Mehdipatnam from Gachibowli has been submerged in Shaikpet & Toli Chowki.

In Attapur under PVNR Expressway, motorists left their own cars to safeguard themselves as the road has been totally submerged & water level rose to the height of cars.

2 people have been died in a wall collapse incident in Medipally. Police officer said 2 people who have been passing by on a bike have been died when a wall of a temple collapsed.

Bahadurpura & Gandipet got the maximum rainfall over 10.Nine Chief Minister. As per Telangana (TL) State Development (devt) Scheduling Community, the rainfall in Rajendranagar has been 10.four awhile it has been 9.seven Chief Minister in Shaikpet.
