Two held with 1,727 kg cannabis worth Rs 8 cr in MP: UP STF

Noida: 2 people have been detained awhile reportedly transporting 1,727 kg cannabis in MP’s Agar Malwa dist. on Sat., the WP Special Task Enforce (STF) stated.

The action has been carried out about 12.30 prime minister by a tandem of the regional MP Police & the Noida unit of the STF, the agency stated.

“2 people have been detained & a container truck impounded that had a secret cavity in that the contraband has been stored, Extra Supervisor of Police (STF) Raj Kumar Mishra stated.

“As much as 1,727 kg of illegal cannabis pegged value approximately INR eight cr was captured,” he added further.

The detain has been made in Susner town of the Agar Malwa dist. in MP. The charged conducted were detected as Shubham Tyagi & Lokesh Singh, both natives of Ghaziabad dist. in WP, the STF stated.

The truck impounded is lodged in Ghaziabad.

Furthermore legal trials are in progress, the agency stated.
