UP: 3 held for communal posts on social media on Ram Mandir ‘bhoomi pujan’ day

Extra Supervisor of Police Kunwar Gyananjay stated they got info on Wed. regarding some of the citizens sitting within the clinic of Dr Aleem forwarding messages on WhatsApp & tweeting comments that are over communal amity & domestic integrity.

When police approached there, Dr Aleem, Kamruddin & Sahibe Alam have been identified engaged within the act, he stated.

All 3 were detained. Amongst them Sahibe Alam has been the previous office-bearer of PFI & functioning as media in-charge of SDPI, the police official stated.

Both Dr Aleem & Kamruddin have been members of SDPI WhatsApp crowd, he stated, adding a elaborated probe regarding their own links to SDPI & PFI has been in progress.
