A minor earthquake of 4.1 m shook Bankura district of W.B (West Bengal) on Wednesday, an IMD formal stated in Kolkata.
The earthquake at 11.24 am occurred at a depth of 15 km from the ground’s surface at longitude 87.1 degree east and latitude 23.5 of degree north as per the official statement.
The earthquake continued for about 2 seconds.
Citizens in Bankura district town, around 200 km from Kolkata, seen shaking of the earth’s outer side & went out of their homes & other apartments.
There had been no record of any casualty or loss to property, according to initial records, officials stated.
